Our Favorite RV Travel Destinations on the East Coast (So Far)

After four years and more than 100 campgrounds, people always ask where they should go. Here are a few of the East Coast and Southern destinations we’ve loved most — real places we’ve parked the coach and would happily return to.

Orange Beach, Alabama

White-sand Gulf beaches, fresh seafood, and if you time it right the Blue Angels roaring overhead. Orange Beach is one of our favorite warm-weather stops for slowing down and soaking up the coast.

Lake Lanier & Stone Mountain, Georgia

A great combo for outdoor lovers: lake days at Lake Lanier and hikes with a view at Stone Mountain. It’s an easy area to explore by e-bike and a fun spot for family adventures.

Everglades, Florida

The Everglades in Florida is a truly unforgettable adventure and a place where nature shows its wild and beautiful side. Surrounded by endless wetlands, unique wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes, every moment feels like stepping into another world. Yes, the bugs are definitely part of the experience, but they are a small price to pay for the incredible memories made exploring this amazing ecosystem. From the peaceful waterways to the chance of seeing alligators, birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat, our Everglades trip was an experience we will always treasure. It reminded us why we love traveling, discovering new places, embracing the adventure, and enjoying the beauty that makes every journey special.

Lake Keowee, South Carolina
